Savoury biscuits are my ace in the hole when I need to prepare an extravagant appetiser: anyway I prepare them, they always go as hot cakes! I already have my personal tested recipe: what I do everytime is to change it and experiment new variation, but I am always sure the result will be great each time!
The blue cheese biscuits recipe had been waiting in my mind for a while now, so I finally decide to prepare them: the big problem was saving them for the appetiser time…once I tried one, I could have eaten all of them!
To prepare these biscuits you can choose the blue cheese type you like the most: sweet, if you want your biscuits delicate in taste, or spicy, for a strong taste: up to you…they will go like hot cakes anyway!

Blue cheese biscuits – finger food recipe

Ingredients for 15 biscuits:

70 gr butter
110 gr plain flour
60 gr blue cheese (sweet or spicy)
a pinch of salt
a pinch of pepper
Black sesame seeds to garnish


Chop the butter (it has to be cold) and mix with the flour until it becomes sandy.
Transfer the mixture into a bowl, add the blue cheese chopped and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix by hand until compact.
Create a ball and allow it to rest in the fridge for 20 minutes, wrapped in plastic paper.
After that, roll the dough between two baking paper layers and cut the biscuits.
Lay your biscuits in a baking tray, covered with baking paper.
Decorate them with the black sesame seeds and make them rest in the fridge for 15 minutes.
Bake at 180° for 12-15 minutes.
When cooked, allow them to cool before serving.
