Are you crazy for fried calamari like me? Then, you have to try these Baked paprika Calamari rings, a lighter and spicier version of this dish: delicious!
Furthermore, Baked paprika Calamari rings have another remarkable advantage: you have not to dirty and to stink out all your kitchen 😉 ! You simply have to season squids (after cleaning and cutting them) in a bowl, to put them in a roasting pan lined with greaseproof paper, to put the roasting pan in the oven…and in 20 minutes they will be ready for your lunch!
I like spicy food, and I used spicy paprika, but if you prefer softer flavours you can use the sweet one.

Baked paprika Calamari rings

Ingredients for 4 people:

4-5 whole squids/calamari

100 grams of breadcrumbs

3 tbsp hot paprika

EVO oil



Clean the squids and cut into rings.
Clean also the tentacles removing the suckers with the blade of a knife.

Rinse well, put everything in a bowl and sprinkle with breadcrumbs, paprika, olive oil and salt.

Bake at 180C/350F/4 Gas Mark for about 20 minutes.

If you like, you can serve with a squeeze of lemon.
