Now that Easter is finished, we all have our pantries full of chocolate eggs and, most of them, are milk chocolate (I don’t know why the surprises you find inside the milk chocolate eggs are always much better than surprises you find inside the dark chocolate eggs…that is a mystery!).
Not sure about you, but I personally ate milk chocolate!
Milk chocolate is also one of the less useful in the kitchen because it does not melt properly as the dark chocolate does; a reason more not to love it!
Anyway, since my job is helping you to solve your everyday problems in the kitchen, today I will show you how to prepare a milk chocolate mousse in a super easy version!
To prepare this recipe you will only need two ingredients: cream and milk chocolate!
Needless to say, the kids will love it…and the adults too.
Milk chocolate mousse super easy!
Ingredients for 6 mousse:
330 ml fresh cream
300 g milk chocolate
Chop the milk chocolate and put in a bowl with 30 ml of fresh cream. Melt and stir to obtain a dense and homogeneous cream. Then allow it to cool.
Whip the fresh cream then pour the melted chocolate on it and stir with a wooden spoon. The movement has to be delicate, from the bottom to the top, to avoid it to dampen.
Pour your cream into six little bowls or glasses (the cream is liquid at this stage, it is normal) and allow it to rest in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it.
If you like, you can decorate your milk chocolate mousse with cocoa powder, any kind of chocolate toppings, whipped cream, coffee beans…it is up to you! Have fun!
Buon appetito, your milk chocolate mousse is ready to be served!
